As the former Special Assistant for the Attorney General (AG) and representative for the Governor, he was the  Coordinator of Intelligence / Antiterrorism (CIA) under commonwealth government of Puerto Rico. Also simultaneously he  was  the INTERPOL Director & the Deputy Director of the Special Investigations Bureau (SIB), Department of Justice. His responsibilities were to be in charge of all investigative operations on intelligence, counter intelligence and the criminal act on terrorism in our island in conjunction with the FBI / National Security Branch.  Alberty is a volunteer and strong advocate for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

        

His duties were

  • Law enforcement & Intelligence Liaison.

  • Executive Board Member of HIDTA (High Intensive Drug Trafficking Area)

  • HIDTA Intelligence Subcommittee Executive member.

  • Executive Board Member of PR State Homeland Security (Fusion Center)

  • Executive Member of FBI’s JTTF (Joint Terrorism Task Force) of the FBI.

  • Diplomatic and consular liaison in Puerto Rico

  • INTERPOL Chief contact for Puerto Rico for the Amazon counter terrorism program (Fusion Task Force on Terrorism)

  • The Governor of Puerto Rico representative for the Memorial Institute for Prevention on Terrorism

  • The Governor of Puerto Rico representative & liaison for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
